Bournemouth Beach deaths: Police rule out idea youngsters have been leaping off pier

People leaping from a pier or the involvement of a jet ski have been dominated out as traces of enquiry by police after two youngsters have been killed off Bournemouth Beach. Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Farrell of Dorset Police was responding to feverish hypothesis surrounding what occurred within the sea close to Bournemouth Pier on Wednesday.

A 17-year-old boy from Southampton and a 12-year-old lady from Buckinghamshire sustained “critical injuries” and later died in hospital whereas eight individuals have been handled for accidents which weren’t life-threatening. The two youngsters weren’t associated.

A person aged in his 40s, who was “on the water” on the time, has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, based on Dorset Police.

The pressure dominated out contact between a vessel and the swimmers in a press release issued earlier on Thursday.
