Girl, 75, killed after collision with automotive in Glasgow

A 75-year-old lady has died following a crash involving a pedestrian and a automotive in Glasgow.

A police enchantment for data has been launched following the collision involving a white Mercedes close to the junction of Farmington Gardens and Farmington Avenue, at round 6.50pm on Saturday.

Emergency providers attended however the feminine pedestrian was pronounced useless on the scene.

The street was closed for round 4 hours and reopened at 10.50pm.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans, Glasgow Road Policing, stated: “Our ideas are with the household and associates of the lady who has died.

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash.

“I want to communicate to anybody who was within the space round this time and will have seen what occurred.

“I am also appealing for anyone with relevant dash-cam or CCTV footage to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 3546 of 3 June, 2023.”
