Man charged with homicide after lady discovered useless in Sheffield

A person has been charged with homicide after a lady’s physique was present in Sheffield.

Emily Sanderson, 48, was found at a home within the Hillsborough space on Tuesday.

Mark Nicholls, 43, was charged along with her homicide on Saturday after being arrested the day earlier than, South Yorkshire Police stated.

He has been remanded in custody and can seem in courtroom on Monday.

“Emily’s body was discovered inside a property on Crofton Avenue at around midday on Tuesday 30 May. A forensic post-mortem examination determined she died of head injuries,” stated a police assertion.

“A 40-year-old woman, arrested on Wednesday 31 May on suspicion of assisting offenders, remains on police bail.”

Ms Sanderson was reported lacking on 25 May and had not been heard from since 19 May, Detective Chief Inspector Andrea Bowell stated.

The drive has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

Ms Bowell added: “The property at Crofton Avenue, the place Emily’s physique was discovered, has undergone painstaking and in depth forensic examination.

“This is necessary to gather as much evidence as possible to help us understand exactly what happened.”
