A 15-year-old lady has died after being pulled from the water in Greater Manchester.

Police, firefighters, and specialist rescue groups had been referred to as to the village of Broadbottom in Tameside simply earlier than 8pm on Wednesday, June 14. Police say they obtained stories an individual was “in difficulty” within the water.

Officers say a 15-year-old lady was pulled from the water. However, regardless of efforts from North West Ambulance Service paramedics, she was pronounced useless on the scene.

Detectives from Greater Manchester Police at the moment are investigating the incident. But they imagine there are not any suspicious circumstances surrounding the lady’s loss of life.

A file is now being ready for His Majesty’s Coroner.

Detective Superintendent Rebecca Boyce, from Greater Manchester Police, stated: “Yesterday evening’s events are nothing short of devastating and my deepest sympathies are with the loved ones of the girl who lost her life in such awful circumstances.

“Officers will continue to support the family during this incredibly difficult time.”
