Jet linked to Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin ‘lands in Belarus’
personal jet linked to Yevgeny Prigozhin has landed at a army airfield in Belarus, in response to experiences.
The Belarusian Hajun undertaking, which screens the nation’s airspace, stated the aircraft landed on the Machulishchi army airfield close to Minsk at 7.40am on Tuesday.
Flightradar24 monitoring knowledge exhibits the Embraer Legacy 600 jet flew to Minsk from Rostov.
There was no quick identification of who was on board.
The identification codes of the plane recommend it’s linked to Autolex Transport, a Russian-based aviation agency related to Prigozhin that was beforehand hit by US sanctions.
Wagner boss Prigozhin is believed to have fled Russia having known as off a mutiny on Saturday after reducing a deal to let him retreat to Belarus.
In his first public feedback since his aborted march on Moscow, Prigozhin denied making an attempt to topple Vladimir Putin and stated the rise up was in response to failings by defence chiefs throughout the invasion of Ukraine.
He stated: “The aim of the march was to avoid destruction of Wagner and to hold to account the officials who through their unprofessional actions have committed a massive number of errors.”
He added his troops, who downed army planes whereas heading for the capital in an armoured column of greater than 5,000 males, remorse “they had to hit Russian aviation”. He stated they turned again “to avoid spilling blood of Russian soldiers”.
The revolt started with the seizure of a army HQ in Rostov-on-Don after 30 Wagner troops have been allegedly killed in a rocket assault.
But Prigozhin abruptly known as off the mutiny after Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko brokered a deal permitting him to go away Russia.
