Back in 1989, Harrison Ford returned as his archaeologist adventurer for a 3rd time in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

This time round he’d be joined by authentic James Bond star Sean Connery because the lead’s father.

This was an ideal match provided that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg had created Indiana Jones as a personality to rival 007 when the latter director had initially wished to shoot a Bond film.

Yet Connery wasn’t the one 007 alumni within the Last Crusade, because the film additionally co-starred A View To A Kill Bond lady Alison Doody as Dr Elsa Schneider and For Your Eyes Only Bond villain Julian Glover as baddie Walter Donovan.

With three former Bond actors within the combine, Spielberg couldn’t resist placing a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Easter Egg right into a scene with all three actors.
