King Charles’ cousin, Flora Vesterberg, has reportedly been snubbed for a seat within the Royal Box.

Flora is the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, who’s the Queen’s cousin, which makes her the third cousin of Charles.

The late Queen’s former press secretary Dickie Arbiter advised Hello!: “The Wimbledon organisation makes so many tickets available to Buckingham Palace, some of them are in the royal box, some of them are in prime seats within centre court and those are distributed on a ballot basis.

“As far as filling up the royal field, properly, it is actually as much as Wimbledon who they invite. They shall be knowledgeable prematurely if a royal needs to go or they will ship out an open invitation. Certainly, the Princess of Wales will go, she is going to go to the Ladies Final, she is going to go to the Men’s Final on Saturday and Sunday respectively.”

He continued: “She may properly go on different days as properly and her workplace will alert Wimbledon to the truth that she needs to go and when she is going to go, and Wimbledon will do the seating plan accordingly, leaving the kind of entrance row seats accessible. But Wimbledon likes to refill the remainder of the seats with celebrities they usually have no issue doing that.”
