Met Police Commissioner says he has not ‘shirked’ from Baroness Casey report
etropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley stated he has not “shirked away from anything” present in a report which stated the pressure was “institutionally racist”.
Following the report, led by Baroness Louise Casey and revealed in March, Sir Mark stated he wouldn’t use the time period “institutional” and informed reporters that he wanted to make use of language “that’s unambiguous and is apolitical”.
