David Lammy caller says ULEZ lowered spouse to tears and Starmer has misplaced his vote

David Lammy has been instructed that Sir Keir Starmer has misplaced the vote of a person whose spouse has been lowered to tears over the hated ULEZ scheme. An LBC caller has blasted the Labour Party over Sadiq Khan’s controversial clean-air zone claiming that the scheme has left him “finished.” The radio host was pressured to face heartbreak and frustration blamed on his get together’s Mayor of London and Mr Khan’s dedication to develop the hated Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) which penalises drivers throughout the huge capital.

The caller, John stated: “ To be honest with you, I have had my wife in tears on the phone now. This has done us. It’s finished.

“We have a £150 to £200 a month to spare, some months on a good month. That’s now going to go on a tax. I really weren’t going to vote any more because obviously the Tories and how much they lie, I always used to vote Tory, I weren’t going to vote for anyone.

“I was actually gonna give Mr Starmer a go. With the support backing them now, he lost my vote immediately.

“I urge everyone to vote Tory now to really give you a taste of your own medicine. That’s how livid I am this morning. This is now the final nail in the coffin, especially for me and my family. It has upset me.”

The mayor’s ULEZ plan will see the present clear air zone prolonged to all 32 London boroughs.

Any automobile or van which fails to satisfy fashionable emissions requirements might be hit with a each day £12.50 toll to drive anyplace in Greater London.

The caller responded: “Now I am not being funny, even with the poor youing girl that passed away, I really feel bad for their family. But are you telling me that she is walking around in the streets of London and people are dropping down dead?

“People, who have got very bad immune systems, you have got to admit this. This has finished us. Labour are supposed to be the party that supports the working person, it is not. It has now squeezed us big time.”

Transport for London has estimated about 160,000 vehicles and 42,000 vans on the capital’s roads are liable to pay the price. Cars, motorbikes, vans, minibuses, and specialist automobiles should pay a £12.50 each day cost to undergo the zone if they do not qualify. Some reductions and exemptions can apply.
