And this wasn’t the only time Heledd’s condition was dismissed by medical doctors.
On future visits to the GP, Heledd was told to cut out dairy and that she was deficient in iron.
In her later teens, after years of pain, Heledd was referred for an ultrasound.
“Everything [on the ultrasound] appeared regular. There was no trigger for concern,” Heledd revealed.

A private scan revealed her left ovary was stuck behind her womb, as the only condition that can lead to that is endometriosis.

“I’ve by no means felt so good in my total life. That Christmas I used to be consuming every part I all the time thought I used to be illiberal to,” Heledd added.
“That’s why it is made me so passionate now, I’m making ladies realise it is not regular.”
Heledd now creates movies on social media to share her experience of endometriosis to lift consciousness concerning the situation.
