Boy dies after tumbling from his scooter in skate park tragedy
A younger boy has died after falling off his scooter in a skate park tragedy.
Police confirmed the boy, 11, died after falling off his scooter close to Tidworth skate park.
Emergency companies reportedly raced to the scene on August 18 shortly after 8pm.
Despite the most effective efforts of paramedics, the younger boy died on the scene.
Wiltshire999s reported that the boy sustained his accidents when he fell off his scooter.
According to stories, a number of kids have been seen crying following the incident and a big cordon was erected across the scene.
In an announcement, Maverick Skateparks stated the accident meant they have been compelled to cancel an upcoming occasion on the venue.
They added they hoped to reschedule the occasion for a later date.
They wrote: “We are very sorry that the Tidworth Skatepark Jam has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We know this is disappointing news, and we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause at such late notice.
“We hope to reschedule the event for a later date with the Council. Thank you for your understanding.”
Police later gave an announcement concerning the incident.
Speaking to the Mirror, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police stated: “We were called by the ambulance service shortly after 8.15pm on Friday night (18/8) to St Andrews Road in Tidworth following a report of an incident involving an 11-year-old boy.
“The boy was treated by paramedics but sadly died.
“His family are being supported by our specialist-trained officers and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.”
