Tesco remembers pastries over fears they include metallic and plastic

Tesco has recalled pastry merchandise together with sausage rolls and steak and ale pies over fears they might include items of metallic and plastic.

The grocery store is recalling 4 merchandise as they’re “unsafe to eat”.

The objects affected are:

• Six-pack cheese and onion rolls (greatest earlier than date: 31 August)

• Tesco Finest steak and ale pies (greatest earlier than date: 1 September)

• Nine-pack mini pork sausage rolls (greatest earlier than date: 30 August)

• 20 pack of mini pork sausage rolls (greatest earlier than date: 29 August)

Anyone who has purchased these things can return them in shops for a full refund. No receipt is required, in line with the alert by the Food Standards Agency.

“We have been made aware that specific batches of various Tesco chilled products may have been contaminated with small pieces of blue plastic and metal,” Tesco mentioned.

“This could potentially pose a risk if consumed.

“Tesco apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused,” it mentioned in a press release.

If there’s a downside with a meals product, the Food Standards Agency can both withdraw the product from grocery store cabinets or recollect it – asking prospects to return the meals.
