A union has accused Amazon of “dirty tricks” over hiring which have pressured it to withdraw its bid for official recognition at a warehouse hit by strikes.

The GMB, which mentioned it had an 800-strong membership on the web site in Coventry, claimed the tech agency had introduced in additional workers to successfully scupper the brink it wanted to safe full illustration standing.
