Elon Musk reinstates Kanye West’s X account (previously often known as Twitter)

Kanye West’s Twitter account has been reinstated after an virtually eight-month ban over offensive tweets.

The billionaire proprietor of X, who calls himself a free speech absolutist, had welcomed the return of the rapper to the platform in October, after his account was reinstated for the primary time.

Musk had beforehand reinstated former US President Donald Trump’s account after conducting a ballot during which some 14.8 million Twitter customers had voted with 51.8% voting in favour of the reinstatement.

But Mr Trump had stated that he had little interest in returning to Twitter and would stick together with his new platform Truth Social.
