Glastonbury followers slam Arctic Monkeys for ‘really s**t’ headline efficiency

Earlier this week Arctic Monkeys released a statement confirming they would be pulling out of their Dublin show following Turner’s diagnosis.

It read: “We are extraordinarily sorry to announce the cancellation of Arctic Monkeys’ present at Marlay Park in Dublin tomorrow. Alex is affected by acute laryngitis and following medical recommendation, has been ordered to relaxation.”

They added: “Alex and the band apologise for the massive disappointment it will inevitably trigger to all their Irish followers. Full refunds shall be credited again to the ticket purchaser’s account.”
