Gogglebox star Pat Webb dies aged 75 after lengthy sickness
Gogglebox star Pat Webb has died after a protracted sickness, the TV present has confirmed.
The 75-year-old appeared with son Stephen Lustig-Webb, from Brighton, throughout sequence 10 to 12.
He posted on Instagram: “Mummy Pat, you were one in a million, took everyone at face value, would share your last fiver with a stranger, the salt of the earth and the absolute centre of our world! Rest in peace mum.”
Posting on X, the Channel 4 present additionally paid tribute.
“Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and the extended family,” it mentioned.
“Our thoughts are with the family who have requested privacy at this sad time.”
Googleboxshow fan web page replied to Stephen’s Instagram remark: “We loved you and Pat – she only had to be on screen for one second and you knew you would laugh at loud.”

Pat Webb joined Googlebox when Stephen’s pal, Chris Ashby-Steed, left the present in 2018 after a reported falling-out between the pair.
Lustig-Webb later appeared alongside his husband Daniel and was one of many present’s longest-running stars till the couple left final 12 months.
In October, Lustig-Webb was compelled to drag out of ITV’s Dancing On Ice after injuring his ankle throughout coaching.
