Speaking to ET News on the pink carpet, the Short Round actor stated: “Honestly, every time I see him — he’s such a gracious man, such a humble man. And the reason why I love acting so much is because of him, because of that experience that we had on Temple Of Doom. So, here we are so many years later.”
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark, was set in 1935 and the fifth and closing film takes place in 1969.
The new movie additionally opens in World War II with a digitally de-aged Ford being captured by Nazis.
