Napoleon trailer – Joaquin Phoenix stars in Ridley Scott’s explosive epic

The first footage of Sir Ridley Scott’s Napoleon Bonaparte epic has arrived, reuniting him with Gladiator star Joaquin Phoenix within the title function reverse Vanessa Kirby as Empress Joséphine.

Inevitably destined for Oscars’ consideration, the upcoming historic biopic will hit cinemas in November earlier than heading to Apple TV+ at a later date.

The movie’s synopsis reads: “Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar-winner Joaquin Phoenix.
