nline retail group THG has sealed a shock deal to purchase London-based enterprise free sheet City AM, the newspaper has confirmed.
The deal saves the enterprise every day, which is distributed to commuters to and from the City of London from Monday to Thursday.
In a launch posted to its web site, City AM stated its 40 editorial workers will transfer to THG, previously referred to as The Hut Group, which owns manufacturers together with MyProtein and Cult Beauty.
