Alastair Campbell gloats at Boris quitting and calls for honours listing scrapping

Arch-Remainer Alastair Campbell has urged Rishi Sunak to scrap Boris Johnson’s resignation honours listing. This comes as the previous prime minister introduced that he was stepping down as an MP with fast impact after receiving the Partygate report.  The honours listing, which rewards a few of Mr Johnson’s closest allies, was revealed simply hours earlier than his resignation. The transfer will set off a by-election in Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
