Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick warned that Labour chief Sir Keir Starmer is in cahoots with the lefty legal professionals who’re abusing the asylum system.

Asked if Starmer “is conspiring with these legal professionals”, Mr Jenrick claimed that there is proof.

He said: “There is proof of that.

“Just this week we’ve got seen an allegation {that a} Labour councillor in Newcastle who can also be a authorized consultant was on TikTok apparently soliciting unlawful migrants to come back to her and she or he would assist them keep within the UK.

“I believe that can be news to her residents in Newcastle who most likely need, like I do, safe borders and managed migration.

“But it is an example of what the Labour Party really thinks and as far as I can tell, absolutely nothing has been done in respect to that lady.”
