Minister summoned to Parliament to elucidate why Rwanda plan invoice to hit £290 million
In a letter revealed on Thursday to Dame Diana Johnson, chairwoman of the Home Affairs Committee, and Dame Meg Hillier, chairwoman of the Public Accounts Committee, Home Office official Matthew Rycroft wrote: “Ministers have agreed that I can disclose now the funds up to now within the 2023-24 monetary 12 months. There has been one fee of £100 million, paid in April this 12 months as a part of the Economic Transformation and Integration Fund talked about above.
