Afghanistan received the toss and selected to bat within the second T20I towards Pakistan in Hambantota on Thursday. Pakistan lead the three-match collection 1-0 after a crushing 142-run win within the opener on Tuesday.
Afghanistan made two adjustments to the XI that performed within the first match with Rahmat Shah and Azmatullah Omarzai, who retired damage as a result of a facet pressure within the first ODI, out. Riaz Hassan and Shahidullah changed them. Hassan, who has performed solely three ODIs and has scored a fifty, was coming again into the XI after one and a half years.
