Aston Villa bus attacked after Burnley win as brick hurled on motorway

brick was hurled in an assault on the Aston Villa staff bus following Sunday’s Premier League match towards Burnley.
Lancashire Police are interesting for potential witnesses to come back ahead after confirming {that a} brick was thrown from a footbridge by the slip highway at junction 10 as Villa’s squad and training employees travelled alongside the M65 again to Birmingham following their 3-1 win at Turf Moor.

“We cannot say at this point whether this was a targeted attack but enquiries are ongoing and this will form part of our investigation.
“We are now determined to find the person or people responsible and are asking for anyone with information to get in touch. If you have any information or dashcam which can help us, please contact us as soon as possible.”
