Man City fan stretchered out of Champions League remaining stadium after collapsing

A Manchester City supporter was stretchered out of the Champions League remaining stadium on Saturday night after showing to ‘collapse’ within the stands. First famous by the I paper, the supporter was placed on a stretcher and was seemingly being given oxygen by medical workers.

Stewards had been mentioned to be alerted to the scenario earlier than the supporter was carried out of the stadium and up the steps.

Pictures taken of the person being stretchered away present a number of followers clapping to lend their help.

One image did seem to indicate the City supporter placing his hand as much as a fellow fan, suggesting he was acutely aware whereas being stretchered off.

The incident occured within the first half of the Champions League remaining with City and Inter Milan unable to be separated.
