Scared spectators on the Masters escaped with out harm after three tall pine bushes fell close to them at Augusta National on Friday.
The incident befell close to the seventeenth tee shortly earlier than second-round play was stopped on account of stormy climate.
The bushes crashed to the bottom close to spectators, however organisers stated that there had been no accidents.
“Augusta National Golf Club can confirm that no injuries were reported from three trees that were blown over to the left of the No. 17 tee due to wind,” the membership stated in an announcement.
“The safety and well-being of everyone attending the Masters Tournament will always be the top priority of the club. We will continue to closely monitor weather today and through the tournament.”
Shortly after the bushes fell, organizers introduced that play was halted and spectators have been evacuated from the Augusta National course, which was being hit with gusting winds.

An announcement stated thunderstorms have been approaching the world with heavy winds and lightning.
Towering pine bushes are a trademark characteristic of the famed, 7,545-yard course, the world’s solely structure to host a males’s main golf event yearly.
Players have been taken off the course with 39 of them but to finish the second spherical at Augusta National and the choice later taken to restart on Saturday.
