Rory McIlroy suffers one other horror present after Phil Mickelson’s LIV Golf jibe
In response to McIlroy’s feedback, Mickelson replied on social media, saying: “As worn out as Mclroy was after the Masters and his need for an off season, LIV would be perfect for him. Problem is I don’t think there’s a team that wants him on it because they’d have to deal with all his bs.”
McIlroy just lately withdrew from the RBC Heritage tour citing that he “needed a break after the disappointment of Augusta”. He has been a vocal critic of LIV Golf, however many defectors have cited the rationale for becoming a member of has been as a result of lighted enjoying schedule.
Mickelson echoed this level by later tweeting: “Love LIV or hate it, it’s the best way/Tour to be your best in the majors. Enough events to keep you sharp, fresh and ready, yet not be worn down from too many tournaments or obligations. 14 LIV events, 34 weeks left open to prepare for the 4 majors. Fact.”
