Novak Djokovic confirms retirement plan as Andy Murray’s mom left livid

Novak Djokovic has stated that he’s not going wherever for the foreseeable future, even suggesting that he might hold taking part in tennis for one more 20 years.

“I feel good in my own body, I still feel I got the support of my environment, of my team, of my family,” stated the Serb after final night time’s win over Daniil Medvedev.

“Knowing that I play at such a high level still and I win the biggest tournaments in this sport, I don’t want to leave this sport if I’m still at the top, you know, if I’m still playing the way I’m playing.

“Eventually at some point I’ll depart tennis in about 23, 24 years and there may be going to be new younger gamers arising. Until then, I assume you’ll see me a bit extra.”
