Novak Djokovic had some enjoyable with the Arthur Ashe Stadium followers after defeating Taylor Fritz as he led the 23,000-strong crowd in a singalong. While the No 2 seed was being interviewed by Rennae Stubbs, he took the chance to steal the microphone and bought everybody to sing Fight For Your Right, minutes after it was performed by the DJ through the match.

“Both Tiafoe and Shelton are very, charismatic very dynamic gamers. They carry quite a lot of ardour, quite a lot of vitality on courtroom, pace and energy so I’m going to be nice to observe them. Then let’s see what occurs on Friday.”
