NASA’s SpaceX crew splash down off Florida coast after six-month mission

Nasa’s Space-X Crew-6 splashed again down on Earth after a six-month keep on the International Space Station.

Their SpaceX capsule parachuted into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida.

Before heading again to Earth, the crew – who had arrived on the station in March – stated they had been craving scorching showers, steaming cups of espresso and the ocean air.

Their homecoming was delayed a day due to poor climate on the splashdown places.

However, ultimately they offered a spectacular middle-of-the-night present as their capsule streaked by means of the sky over Cape Canaveral earlier than splashing down close to Jacksonville.

The astronauts stated it was unbelievable to be again.

“You’ve got a roomful of happy people here,” SpaceX Mission Control stated.

SpaceX launched the astronauts’ replacements greater than every week in the past.

Another crew change will happen later this month with the long-awaited homecoming of two Russians and one American who’ve been up on the station for a whole 12 months.

Their keep was doubled after their Soyuz capsule leaked all of its coolant and a brand new craft needed to be launched.

Between crew swaps, the house station is dwelling to seven astronauts.
