Daniel Khalife: Confirmed sighting of escaped terror suspect, police say

Police have introduced a confirmed sighting of escaped terror suspect Daniel Khalife in southwest London on Wednesday morning.

An eyewitness reported seeing a person becoming Khalife’s description “walking away from a BidFood van that had stopped near the south entrance to Wandsworth Roundabout”, a couple of mile from Wandsworth Prison, Scotland Yard mentioned.

It was on the “top of Trinity Road, shortly after his escape”, the pressure added.

The 21-year-old former soldier was then seen “walking towards Wandsworth town centre”.

This potential sighting, which “could be very significant”, is “one of several key lines of enquiry that officers are pursuing”.

Earlier, police have been looking Richmond Park, a couple of miles away.

They have been stationed at key entry and exit factors into the early hours of Friday, with two police helicopters overhead.
