The companion of disgraced ex-Tory MP Peter Bone has been chosen because the Conservative candidate to switch him within the Wellingborough by-election.

Helen Harrison, who’s a Conservative councillor in Wellingborough’s North Northamptonshire space, was chosen by members of the get together on Sunday afternoon, based on get together chair Richard Holden.

Mr Bone has been the MP for Wellingborough in Northamptonshire since 2005, and was re-elected with a majority of 18,540 on the final election in 2019.
