Elizabeth Watson: Man seems in court docket charged with ‘much-loved’ grandmother’s homicide in Peterhead

A person has appeared in court docket charged with the homicide of a “much-loved” grandmother in Aberdeenshire.

Officers had been referred to as to a home in Catto Drive, Peterhead, on Tuesday night following a report of concern for Elizabeth Watson.

The 58-year-old was pronounced useless on the scene.

Jonathon Divers, 30, was arrested and charged in reference to Ms Watson’s loss of life.

Divers, of Peterhead, made no plea to the one homicide cost when he appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Friday.

He was remanded in custody and is anticipated again within the dock throughout the subsequent eight days.

In a press release launched by Police Scotland earlier this week, Ms Watson’s household stated: “Elizabeth was a much-loved mum and grandma, she will be missed dearly by many.”
