Guitar owned by Tony Sheridan when he performed with The Beatles goes to public sale

guitar which is claimed to have been owned by musician Tony Sheridan on the time he performed and recorded with The Beatles has gone to public sale.
The 1959 Martin D-28E electro acoustic guitar will go below the hammer at Special Auction Services (SAS) in Newbury, Berkshire, on Tuesday.
The guitar is “extremely rare”, in line with SAS, and it’s anticipated to fetch £25,000.
Its presence was first publicised at a valuation day for Channel 5 present Paul Martin’s Antiques Showdown at Sheffield Winter Garden.
Martin mentioned he’s wanting ahead to seeing which bidder will probably be fortunate sufficient to take the guitar dwelling.
“We’ve come across some unbelievable finds during filming for Auction Showdown,” he mentioned.
“But this remarkable instrument, steeped in musical history, is particularly unique – so much so that we’ve decided to arrange a specialist auction for it.”
Season one among Paul Martin’s Antiques Showdown follows Martin as he battles in opposition to rivals to collect uncommon antiques and invaluable collectibles in a sequence of challenges.

Sheridan recorded the tune My Bonnie with The Beatles in Hamburg in 1961 and launched the one below the title Tony Sheridan And The Beat Brothers.
