The clip, printed on social media platform X by the charity Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), reveals a person on a prepare utilizing a vape speaking to a Jewish man and making claims about his faith on Wednesday evening in a vile verbal assault lasting round two minutes.

“The passenger stood up and sat opposite the man. In the ensuing conversation, the passenger said: ‘Your religion kills Muslims.’”

The charity added: “He additionally proceeded to consult with the person’s skullcap in saying: ‘You’re sporting the hat.’ We imagine it’s potential that the passenger in query could also be a minor, so we’ve blurred his face.

“He is described as a Middle Eastern male with a black ponytail between the ages of sixteen to twenty years previous. British Transport Police is investigating, and we’re persevering with to assist the sufferer. It is not yet known whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident. 

Earlier this week, chief executive of the Campaign Against Antisemitism Gideon Falter, 40, told Express.co.uk that following pro-Palestinian protests earlier this month parts of London are “no-go zones” thanks to the “weekly marches” taking place in support of Palestine.

Mr Falters’ assessment was echoed by other Jewish people who told the Express just how much their experience has changed since the October 7 attacks.  Natalie, not her real name, said: “I really feel that I don’t need to be clearly Jewish [in public], I don’t need our kids to be clearly Jewish [in public] as a result of I believe we’d face abuse.

“We try and time things for when things [the protests] are finished. And I certainly wouldn’t want come out of a synagogue, crossing the march. I wouldn’t want to be wearing anything that identified myself as Jewish. I wouldn’t have a problem with our sons walking down to our local synagogue with their kippah on. I wouldn’t have a problem with that at all – now I would.”

In a press release, a spokesperson for Campaign Against Antisemitism mentioned: “It is shocking to see how this man was treated by this young lout for daring to be Jewish in public, but perhaps it is not that surprising. Inaction against the marches through London has led to a feeling amongst many extremists and antisemites that they can get away with brazen acts of racism against Jews, and too often they are right.

“Antisemitism has reached record-levels, however prosecutions are few and much between, and even after they do occur, the sentences handed down are sometimes no deterrent in any respect. 69% of British Jews now say that they’re much less prone to present seen indicators of their Judaism in public, and for this reason.

“British Transport Police, who are investigating the matter, have a better track record than the Metropolitan Police as of late and so we are hopeful that the perpetrator will face justice.
