He told Amersham Law Courts the teen had suffered stress and anxiety, adding: “His GCSE results were not as good as they should have been. The defendant, supposed to help students make the right ­decisions, instead helped him make all the wrong decisions.” 

Mr Povall said: “He was at college and he got here into contact with the defendant. She was ready of belief. He has been brought about stress and nervousness having to undergo two trials. He is worried his household and associates have additionally suffered.”

During one incident, the court heard Barber asked the boy to meet her, going to a private field and having sex with him. The judge said: “You referred to as him and requested to satisfy. He agreed and also you walked into some personal fields. You started kissing him. You requested if he needed to have intercourse, he agreed.”

After Barber was jailed, Daniel posted an online tribute to his wife with a kissing emoji, and the caption “at all times”.
