M62 crash horror as man dies with two arrested and two flee scene
Two men are still on the run after a crash on the M62 that left one man lifeless this morning. Police arrested two males however are nonetheless looking for two others after the collision which concerned a gray Mercedes and a silver Skoda Fabia.
Cheshire Police stated that the accident occurred at round 3.45am this morning, on the eastbound carriageway close to to junction 10, the Croft Interchange close to Warrington.
Police attended the scene and the 61-year-old driver of the Skoda was taken to hospital. He later died of his accidents.
Two males are believed to have fled the motorway on foot. Two different males, aged 21 and 23, remained on the scene they usually have since been arrested on suspicion of inflicting dying by harmful driving.
Liverpool Echo experiences that Cheshire Police has launched an attraction to hint anybody who might have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage.
Sergeant Russell Sime, of the Serious and Complex Collision Investigation Unit, stated: “This was a serious collision which has resulted in the death of a 61-year-old man, and we are committed to doing all we can to establish exactly what took place.
“As a part of our investigation we’re eager to listen to from anybody who was travelling on the M62, close to to Junction 10, on the time of the incident and believes they could have witnessed the collision.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
“We would additionally like to listen to from anybody who believes that they could have seen the occupants of the Mercedes fleeing the scene on foot following the incident.
“The collision itself occurred near to Mill House Lane, Croft, and we’re urging residents who live in the vicinity of the motorway to review their CCTV cameras for anyone who may have been around their properties from 3.45am this morning, Saturday 29 April.”
