A person and a girl have appeared in court docket charged with assault to hazard of life following the demise of a person in Aberdeen.

Emergency companies have been referred to as to a property within the metropolis’s Rosehill Crescent at round 10.45pm on Saturday.

A 39-year-old man, who has not but been named, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary the place he died a short while later.

Mark Riddell, 36, and Leah Knight, 28, have been arrested in reference to the incident and appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

The pair, from Aberdeen, made no plea to the cost of assault to hazard of life.

Both Riddell and Knight have been remanded in custody and are due again in court docket inside the subsequent week.

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and watchdog Police Investigation and Review Commissioner (PIRC) have been notified of the case.
