Man remanded in custody over M62 crash demise of boy, 12

A person has been remanded in custody over the demise of a 12-year-old boy who was strolling on a motorway.

Matthew Rycroft, of Nowell View, Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with inflicting or permitting the demise of a kid and driving dangerously.

The 36-year-old can also be accused of failing to offer a specimen at Leeds General Infirmary the subsequent day.
