Man who climbed on automobile bonnet after which fell off has died – as police make arrest

A person has died after climbing on the bonnet of a automobile which was pushed throughout a junction earlier than he fell off, police say.

The 18-year-old sufferer was discovered with extreme accidents by officers on Booth Road in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, at round 5am on Saturday.

The teenager died on the scene from his wounds.

Police have begun an investigation and arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of inflicting dying by harmful driving.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) stated in an announcement: “Enquiries revealed that the sufferer climbed onto the bonnet of a car – a gray Ford Ka – and he was pushed throughout the junction of Dunham Road on to Booth Road.

“He fell from the bonnet and tragically sustained fatal injuries.”

The drive added that the car’s driver left the scene.
