Homicide arrests after girl discovered useless in Rotherham
A person and a girl have been arrested on suspicion of homicide after a girl was discovered useless in Rotherham.
In an announcement issued late on Monday evening (August 28), a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police stated: “An investigation has been launched this evening following the death of a woman in Rotherham.
“Officers responded to The Bridleway in Rawmarsh simply after 3:30pm following a name from Yorkshire Ambulance Service {that a} girl, in her 30s had been discovered useless inside a property. Upon officers’ arrival, a person aged 47 and a girl aged 49 have been arrested on suspicion of homicide. They each stay in police custody.
“The woman’s family has been informed and is being supported by officers. Scenes remain in place on The Bridleway.
