Police problem recent enchantment to hint lacking seven-year-old

Police in have issued a recent enchantment for data into the of seven-year-old Daniel Entwistle twenty years in the past. And the person who heads up Constabulary’s unsolved instances evaluation supervisor has stated he and his colleagues stay dedicated to discovering solutions – and are actively trying to find “credible” new leads.

Daniel Entwistle disappeared from close to his house in Copperfield Avenue, Great Yarmouth on Saturday, May 3, 2003 – the May Bank Holiday weekend – after going out to play.

Paula and David grew to become nervous when he failed to come back house for his tea and started to search for him, with the assistance of their associates and neighbours.

Soon a significant investigation was underway with police calling in a number of companies specialising in search and rescue strategies.

He was carrying a blue Adidas t-shirt with striped sleeves and an Adidas motif on the chest, blue tracksuit bottoms and grey-coloured coaching sneakers.

Despite the large police search involving many individuals and different companies no hint of Daniel was ever discovered.

A Norfolk Police spokesman stated since his disappearance officers have performed greater than 2,500 strains of enquiry and brought greater than 580 statements.

He added: “In the last six years officers have conducted further searches in Great Yarmouth and received several new pieces of information which have all been investigated.

“However, Daniel stays a lacking particular person to today. Officers proceed to enchantment for brand new data which may assist resolve this case.”

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Guy said: “We recognise the enormity of twenty years passing since Daniel went lacking, and the impression this has had on his household in that point.

“As a force we remain committed to finding answers for them, and we have continued to explore new lines of inquiry in this case in response to new and credible information.”

He added: “In the last five years we have pursued 12 pieces of information passed to us.

“However, regardless of the unique investigation carried out in 2003, our continued efforts and the next appeals within the intervening years, no data or proof has but established what occurred to Daniel because the final confirmed sighting of him on May 3, 2003.”

Speaking to the BBC in 2012, David Entwistle, Daniel’s father, stated: “I do not know if he is alive, I do not know if he is useless.

“He could be still alive, somebody might have taken him.

“He may have fallen into the river. We simply do not know, we have no closure.

“I wish I had told him he couldn’t play out. It really hurts.”

Mr Entwistle cut up with Daniel’s mom after his disappearance and moved to Lowestoft, the place he died in 2015 on the age of 53. His dying was not handled as suspicious.
