Sexual assault of teenage woman on bus sparks probe as police launch CCTV

Nottinghamshire Police has launched CCTV photographs of a person after a teenage woman was sexually assaulted on a bus. The teen stated she was sat behind the bus when a stranger moved her bag and sat subsequent to her.

The stranger then proceeded to sexually assault her, she alleged, earlier than alighting the bus within the centre of Nottingham.

In the wake of the incident the woman was left “shaken”.

The incident occurred in April, with the authorities now releasing photographs of the person they wish to converse to about it.

PC Joseph Blake, of Nottinghamshire Police, stated: “We really want to speak to the man in the image as we believe he may have information that can help our investigation.

“We take all reports of sexual assaults seriously and will investigate every single incident.

“The victim has been left shaken and is being supported by our team.”
