Stranraer: Police Scotland investigates ‘unexplained’ dying of four-year-old woman
A four-year-old woman has died after being discovered “unresponsive” in Dumfries and Galloway.
Police Scotland has launched a probe into the “unexplained” dying after being known as to a home in Eastwood Avenue, Stranraer, on Sunday morning.
The woman was taken to hospital, the place she was pronounced useless a short while later.
A spokesperson stated: “Around 6.10am on Sunday 16 July 2023, officers were called to a report of an unresponsive child at an address on Eastwood Avenue, Stranraer.
“Emergency providers attended and the four-year-old woman was taken to hospital the place she was pronounced useless a short while later.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.”
