Supermarkets slammed after ‘rancid’ Christmas turkeys despatched to clients
Quite a few British supermarkets have been slammed this morning after clients claimed that that they had had ‘rancid’ Christmas turkeys delivered for his or her Christmas dinner.
Social media customers vented their frustrations on X, previously often called Twitter, after a quantity claimed to have acquired ‘rotten’ meat of their orders, whereas different individuals had their Christmas food substituted for different gadgets.
Richard Piers Rayner wrote on X: “This is a bit of a blow. Bought a ‘fresh’ turkey (£53.00!) from the local Tesco superstore a couple of days ago.
“Just unwrapped it to arrange every little thing for tomorrow and it completely stinks. The meat is rotten. So…Christmas dinner? It’ll not be fairly as we would have hoped.”
