Ankita Raina of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Ramkumar Ramanathan of Indian Oil emerged the champions within the forty second PSPB inter-unit tennis match on the DLTA Complex on Friday.

With the entire match of workforce championship and particular person occasions of singles and doubles packed in 4 days, the format needed to be tweaked.

Thus, Ramkumar beat workforce mate Chirag Duhan 9-5 within the ultimate for the boys’s title. Ramkumar had earlier overwhelmed Vishnu Vardhan and Rithvik Bollipalli on strategy to the ultimate.

Ankita beat Riya Bhatia of Indian Oil 9-5 within the ladies’s ultimate. Incidentally, Ankita had overwhelmed Riya in straight units in a thriller in the course of the workforce championship. Ankita had overwhelmed Prarthana Thombare within the semifinlas, whereas Riya Bhatia had overwhelmed Riya Sachdeva.

The males’s doubles title was received by Vishnu Vardhan and Rithvik who beat Ramkumar and Chirag within the ultimate.

Rajkumar Dubey received the veterans title for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and joined with Monish Sharma to clinch the doubles title as properly. BPCL had earlier received the workforce title as properly.

Riya Sachdeva was offered the ‘’most promising participant’’ award.

The Chairman and Managing Director of the host, Engineers India Limited (EIL), Vartika Shukla, offered the trophies.
