housands of tennis followers queued in a single day to get their palms on tickets to the Wimbledon Championships as play was set to get underneath method on Monday.
By 6am, there was a buzz within the air across the All England Lawn Tennis Club as sports activities followers queued for Wimbledon tickets within the morning sunshine.

The first within the queue have been Julia Barker, 47, and husband Nickie, 54, who arrived from Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday to face in line. Kaylee McLeod, 18, and Avery Jameson, 17, had flown over from Texas with their tennis membership to attend Wimbledon. They had floor passes however have been eager to get on court docket to see American participant Coco Gauff.

Met Office meteorologist Amy Bokota told fans to expect some rain in south-west London on Monday and a “much wetter day” on Tuesday.
But Thursday and Friday may carry higher circumstances for spectators, she stated.
She stated Wimbledon-goers ought to “definitely pack an umbrella and a coat” as “there is going to be rain through the afternoon period”.
