Apple Inc has unveiled a mixed-reality headset named Apple Vision Pro - its first totally new product in eight years.

The product, which blends a video feed from the surface world with a digital world displayed on screens contained in the headset, was launched on the company's annual software developer conference on Monday.

It is ready to be a rival to Meta's Quest Pro from final 12 months and Quest 3 introduced final week.
