A presidential candidate in Argentina's elections, Javier Milei, is demanding an settlement with the UK to resolve the long-standing dispute over the Falkland Islands.

He claimed: "The Malvinas Islands are Argentine. Sovereignty cannot be relinquished. It is true that there was a war in which we lost.
