Two British skiers have been killed by an avalanche on Mont Blanc in France.
Mountain rescuers discovered a 54-year-old mom and her 22-year-old son lifeless underneath snow that hit a slender gulley round Saint-Gervais, a resort close to Chamonix, on Thursday afternoon.
Officials consider it might have been triggered by two ski tourers who have been uphill of the British household, snowboarding within the Pirolettes couloir.
